Trip Overview
A good Morocco trip needs the right balance. Our route takes you from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert and back, covering city life, mountain drives, desert dunes, and slow mornings at a riad, all in seven days.
The route is: Marrakech to the Sahara Desert to Marrakech.
The structure works because it gives you two different experiences. The first half is active. The second half lets you breathe.
Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November) are the best times to visit. The weather is comfortable, the light is great for photos, and the desert is not extreme in temperature. Avoid July and August if heat is a concern.
For stays, we mix traditional riads in Marrakech with a luxury desert camp in the Sahara and a boutique hotel for the final nights. Every property is chosen for location, comfort, and character.
Trip Highlights
- Days 1 to 2: Marrakech medina, food markets, palaces, and souks. Walk through Djemaa el-Fna square, eat street food, and get lost in the lanes of the old city.
- Days 3 to 4: Sahara Desert experience. Drive through the Atlas Mountains, stop at Ait Benhaddou, ride a camel across the dunes, visit a Berber village, and sleep under the stars in a luxury camp.
- Days 5 to 7: Return to Marrakech. Check into a boutique hotel, spend a day at a traditional hammam, take part in a cultural workshop, and enjoy a final dinner before departure.
