We designed this Switzerland itinerary 10 days after planning dozens of Switzerland trips for first-time and repeat travelers.

Trip Overview

A good trip needs a clear plan. Our planned route takes you through Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, Grindelwald, Zermatt, and Geneva over 10 days. Each destination builds on the last. Zurich gives you a strong start. Lucerne slows you down by the lake. Interlaken puts you right in the heart of the Alps. Zermatt takes your breath away. Geneva wraps the trip up perfectly.

The main stops are Zurich (2 nights), Lucerne (2 nights), Interlaken and Grindelwald (3 nights), Zermatt (2 nights), and Geneva (1 night). We handle all the planning. You enjoy the trip.

Summer (June to August) and Winter (December to February) are the best times to visit. Summer is perfect for hiking and scenic trains. Winter is ideal for snow, skiing, and the Christmas markets. Getting around is simple with a Swiss Travel Pass, which we include in your package.

For stays, we mix modern city hotels in Zurich and Geneva with cozy Alpine lodges in Interlaken and Zermatt. Every property is hand-picked for location and value.
