Trip Overview

This 7-day Italy package takes you through Rome, Florence, Cinque Terre, and Venice. Every stop is chosen with the purpose to give you a full, real feel of Italy.

Night breakdown: Rome (2 nights), Florence (2 nights), Cinque Terre (1 night), Venice (2 nights).

Rome brings history. Florence brings art and architecture. Cinque Terre brings coastal views and fresh air. Venice wraps it up with canals, charm, and some of the best seafood you’ll eat.

Best time to visit: Spring (April to June) or Autumn (September to October). We recommend avoiding July and August. The crowds are heavy and the heat makes sightseeing exhausting.

Getting around: A Eurail Italy Pass is included. It covers all Trenitalia rides between cities, so you never have to worry about booking trains on your own.

Stays: A mix of boutique hotels in Rome and Florence, a cliffside guesthouse in Cinque Terre, and a canal-view hotel in Venice. Every property is picked for comfort, value, and location.

Trip Highlights

  • Days 1 to 2: Rome, history, food, and energy. Walk through the Colosseum, toss a coin at the Trevi Fountain, tour the Vatican, and eat your way through Trastevere. Rome sets the tone for the whole trip.
  • Days 3 to 4: Florence, art, architecture, and Tuscan charm. Visit the Uffizi Gallery, climb the Duomo for panoramic city views, cross the Ponte Vecchio, and take a short evening stroll through the Oltrarno neighborhood. Florence is slower, quieter, and absolutely worth two full days.
  • Day 5: Cinque Terre and the coast. Take the train along the cliffs, walk between the colorful villages, eat fresh focaccia and pesto by the sea, and spend the night in one of the quietest spots on this entire trip. Most travelers say this is the highlight of the whole package.
  • Days 6 to 7: Venice, canals, and a perfect send-off. tour St. Mark's Basilica, take a vaporetto ride down the Grand Canal, get lost in the side streets, and end your last evening with a Venetian seafood dinner. Those who want more can extend by a day to cover Murano Island and the Rialto Market at its best.
